There is a large community of turkey vultures that calls Jiggs Landing their home. When we arrived at 9:00 am they were roosting in the sun, warming up before taking off in search of food. By 10:00 am there wasn't a single one to be seen. They would return at dusk to roost for the night.
After we left Jiggs Landing we went over to the Botanical Gardens....while there we enjoyed a delightful picnic. I added some of those pics as well.
Both Jiggs Landing and the Botanical Gardens are less than 10 miles from home!
