JIGGS LANDING~ MAY 17, 2014 ( PHOTOS )

Jiggs Landing is a paradise for those who love fishing and boating....breathtaking scenery and lots of birds. Modern cabins are available for rent and facilities for restrooms and showers are also modern and super clean! 

There is a large community of turkey vultures that calls Jiggs Landing their home. When we arrived at 9:00 am they were roosting in the sun, warming up before taking off in search of food. By 10:00 am there wasn't a single one to be seen. They would return at dusk to roost for the night.

After we left Jiggs Landing we went over to the Botanical Gardens....while there we enjoyed a delightful picnic. I added some of those pics as well.

Both Jiggs Landing and the Botanical Gardens are less than 10 miles from home!
